Crew Rules & Regulations

The Club requires all crews and contract laborers to abide by these rules and regulations on property:

  • Crews and contract laborers must park in designated areas.
  • Crews and contract laborers are not permitted to use the north or south 15-minute parking zones unless previously approved by the Harbor Master or General Manager.
  • Members must notify Security at the Front Gate of crews’ and contract laborers’ date of service for their boat.
  • Crews and contract laborers must register with Security at the Front Gate to be admitted to the Club.
  • Crews and contract laborers are also required to register in the Harbor Office before beginning work on a member’s vessel.
  • Open-flame tools are not permitted.
  • Outside work such as spraying of paint or any coating, and any other activity that could adversely affect other boats, should be done at a boat yard suited for this kind of work.
  • The Harbor Master will halt any work activity if deemed to be not in the best interest of the Club or its members.
  • Boat maintenance, refinishing and repairs are to be done within the member’s assigned boat well.
  • No modifications are to be made to docks, walkways, dock boxes or seawall caps unless approved by the Harbor Master or Club Manager.
  • Crews and contract laborers are not permitted to use Club facilities.
  • The Club permits no one, including crews, contract laborers and members, to use the Hoist or Gin Pole without Harbor personnel assistance.
  • The Club permits no one, including crews, contract laborers and members, to use the waste oil dispersal area without Harbor personnel assistance.
  • Contract laborers will provide their own carts or use the red “vendor” carts located by the southwest light post in the main parking lot.
  • The brown “member” carts are not to be used by contract laborers under any circumstances.
  • Members are responsible for the conduct of crews and contract laborers, and are liable for any Club debts incurred or damages resulting from work done by them.
  • Commencing Memorial Day, all work on boats by contract laborers, except emergency repairs, must be conducted between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • All docks and walkways must be cleared of any equipment and tools by 4 p.m. daily.
