2018 Day Camp:2018 Day Camp:
Open to Sponsored Guests

This year's Day Camp, for children ages 4-12, runs from June 18 through August 10. The camp is open to both members and sponsored guests. Highlights of this year's program include gardening, cooking classes, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), activities, tennis, pickleball, swimming, splash pad, play scape, sailboat rides and more.

GPYC Summer Day Camp Director Madeleine Kaiser, pictured above, comes to this role well-equipped to ensure your children will not only be in a safe, caring environment – they will have an absolute blast, too. A Grosse Pointe Woods native, Madeleine is currently a second grade teacher at Our Lady Star of the Sea. Over the past five years, she has taught a range of preschool through middle school students.

“One of my best work experiences was being a part of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club staff from 2008-2012, so I am incredibly honored and thrilled to be back on the team,” said Madeleine. “My greatest passion is working with children to give them enjoyable enrichment opportunities to learn and grow.”
